This is not a gallery; it's a web site.

What you will see here is not art but a collection of digital photographs of artifacts created by artists. Never mistake the two: digitally reproduced art and art are different, just as an art gallery or museum is different from a web site.

There is this new wave of digital art. Digital art only exists in digital form which means without a digital viewer to help you view the art, it only exists as a set of electronic codes assembled through a tool by a digital artist. The digital artist is a real artist in terms of being a real human being; in terms of being an artist per se is another matter altogether.

Without a web browser you can't see digital art intended for the web.

Without a web browser you can't see this collection--my collection--of art hanging on walls in my home and transformed into digital matter by a camera. But the digital collection here is not the collection itself. Seeing art in digital form that is not created digitally by the artist is not seeing the art the artist created.

Never forget that. Go see non-digital art some time. It's much better than anything I can show you on the web. That's why it's all over my home.

Nonetheless, feel free to click on an artist to the left and check out the work.
